How does the Canadian Dental Care Plan work?
The Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal initiative introduced by the Government of Canada to support low- and middle-income individuals and families in accessing essential dental care. If you meet the eligibility requirements — such as income thresholds and not having private dental insurance — you may qualify for partial or full coverage of dental treatments at participating clinics like Genesis Dental Centre.
Who is eligible for CDCP ?

To qualify for the CDCP, you must meet all of the following requirements:

No access to private dental insurance
You do not have any dental coverage through a private or employer-provided insurance plan. -
Family net income under $90,000
Your adjusted family net income must be below $90,000 per year. -
Canadian residency
You must be a Canadian resident for tax purposes. -
Filed a tax return
You must have filed your tax return for the previous year.
