We believe dental care should be accessible
That is why we accept the Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP) and work with most insurance providers. Our team checks your coverage before treatment starts, so you know where you stand.
What is the Canada Dental Care Plan?
The Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP) is a federal program designed to help eligible Canadians access essential dental care if they do not have private dental insurance.
Who is eligible for CDCP?
You may be eligible for CDCP if all of the following apply:
- You do not have private dental insurance
- Your adjusted family net income is under $90,000 per year
- You are a Canadian resident for tax purposes
- You have filed your taxes for the previous year
Eligibility and coverage level depend on income and individual circumstances.
What does CDCP typically cover?
CDCP focuses on essential and preventive dental care. Commonly covered services may include:
- Dental exams and check-ups
- X-rays
- Professional cleanings
- Fillings
- Extractions
- Basic periodontal care
Some services may require pre-authorization, and not all treatments are fully covered.
What may not be covered?
Coverage varies, but CDCP may not fully cover:
- Cosmetic treatments
- Advanced or elective procedures
- Some specialist services
Our team will always review your coverage before treatment.

You can apply directly through the Government of Canada at canada.ca/dental. If you need help understanding the application or your eligibility, our front desk team is happy to assist.
